Fox Den Farms is a gated farm with locked tack storage. Featuring 70 acres of land, there is plenty of space to roam. We have a 135x200 foot grass arena with jumps, full size sand dressage arena, and a round pen for training. The barn has roomy, open air stalls, a wash pit with hot and cold water, and there are restroom facilities available. All horses are given excellent love and care.
Limited availability. Stalls are roomy and well bedded. We use slow feed hay nets. Horses stalled as needed and during bad weather. We firmly believe in as much turnout time as possible as it is healthier for horses to be mobile, so we do not stall daily unless the weather is poor. If you opt for daily stalling add $50. Includes hay and pelleted feed 2x per day as needed. No more than 4 horses in turnout. Private turnout (if available) or temporary stall layup add $50 per month. Blanketing $25
Large pastures. Includes hay (round bales) when grass is dormant and pelleted feed 2x per day as needed, 24 hour turnout, shelters, and no more than 4 horses in one pasture. For blanketing or year round hay for dry lot turnout add $50 per month.
We offer excellent retirement board and gladly take horses from out of state seeking a more temperate climate. Central NC offers long, beautiful springs and falls, and while we do have some heat in the summer and occasionally snow in the winter, harsh weather is always short lived! Our retirees can have a custom diet, turnout options, and handling of all farrier and veterinary needs. Grooming and blanketing can be added. Pictures sent routinely and as requested.
$10 minimum fee (we encourage owners for be present for vet and farrier when possible).

Winter time blanketing and removing of blanket during warm days. Well behaved horses only who are polite for blanketing. Pasture board is limited to 1 blanket and 1 rain sheet per horse.
